What the network covers
Lucknow Metro's operational Red Line runs between Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport and Munshipulia, cutting across the city through Charbagh and Hazratganj. Gomti Nagar is not on that alignment.
Further lines have been discussed and planned over the years, but what matters for planning today is the line actually running.
Closest stations and the last leg
The nearest stations sit on the northern side of the area, toward the Munshipulia end of the line. From there, an auto, e-rickshaw or app cab covers the remaining distance into the khands.
For most journeys into Gomti Nagar, a direct cab is simpler than a metro trip plus a transfer — the metro wins mainly when you are travelling from somewhere directly on the line at a congested hour.
